Why there's no name on this
The short versionI still work in the industry. A name would point at the companies I work with, their customers, and people who have nothing to do with this.
So the posts stand on their own. Every claim points at a label, a regulation, or a document you can open yourself. If you can't check it, I don't post it.

How a post gets made
Four stations, every post1Station one
Read the labelChecked against the package or the manufacturer's product page, and dated.
2Station two
Read the ruleIn the regulation itself, usually the Code of Federal Regulations, not a story about it.
3Station three
Source the companyFrom the company, a court or agency record, or the outlet that reported it.
4Station four
Ship the sourcesEvery source goes at the bottom of the post, so you can check my work.
QC HOLDIf something's wrong after it ships, the post gets corrected and the correction is noted at the top.
The rules
Signed off, non-negotiableNo food brand sponsors this, and none will. Nobody gets to buy a softer teardown.
What I Buy is food, kitchen gear and a few other things I actually use. No brand pays to be on it. Commission links are marked, and your price doesn't change.
